Chai on Life is the Jewish Federation's programming for seniors & retirees. Chai on Life participants get together for study opportunities, field trips and fun! We are always taking suggestions on where to go, things to do & see. Don't hesitate to reach out to Rachel Johnson to let her know if there's anything you're interested in. We can't promise anything, but if we can make it happen we will.
So far in 2019 our group has gone to the Fred Jones Jr. Museum for the David Friedman exhibit, the Sherwin Miller Museum for the Leonard Bernstein exhibit, the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum for an archives tour, Film Row for an exclusive inside look to the deadCenter Film Festival from Lance McDaniel, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art for the Van Gogh, Monet & Degas exhibit and most recently the American Banjo Museum of the Jim Henson exhibit. We're not done yet - we have a couple more items on our list for this year. We'll put them in the upcoming section on this page as we have them booked.
In 2018 we went to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Armstrong College for the Seals of Isaiah and King Hezekiah Exhibit, and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art for the Isabelle De Borchgrave: Fashioning Art from Paper Exhibit. We've also had a session with the FBI of Oklahoma City to discuss Fraud & Scams against senior citizens and best practices to prevent and stop them.
