Security Training for the Jewish Community

Active Threat/Active Shooter Scenario Training

Tuesday, December 3rd, 7:15 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.
Emanuel Synagogue, 900 N.W. 47th Street, OKC 73118

The Jewish Federation is pleased to be bringing the Secure Community Network (SCN) to our Jewish community for a special security training. SCN is the national homeland security initiative of The Jewish Federations of North America & the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations

This Active Threat/Active Shooter Scenario Training was developed through an exclusive collaboration between SCN and the FBI's recognized best practice training through the ALERRT Center at Texas State University. The training is specifically designed to provide members of the Jewish community with proven defense/survival strategies to implement in order to respond to and survive violent critical incidents.

We never know when we might be near or in an active shooter incident.  There are many accounts from members of the Pittsburgh Jewish community that they survived the shooting because they knew what to do when the shooting occurred. SCN had provided hours of training the Pittsburgh Jewish community before the shooting incident occurred.

This session is for members of the Jewish community. It is not open to the community-at-large. Preregistration is required via this Eventbrite link
