Building for Others

Sunday, April 7

12:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Please join our Jewish community as we work together to help Habitat for Humanity build homes for our fellow Oklahomans. The entire Jewish community is invited to participate in this important mitzvah project.

We currently expect our project to include a lot of painting, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing (hats, closed-toed shoes, etc.) but we could be tasked with other jobs as well. Habitat for Humanity will provide all the necessary materials for the tasks we are assigned. We will bring bottled water, but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks.

Our work address is:

in the Legacy Estate Addition

7304 Legacy Lane

Oklahoma City, OK

To participate in this project, please email Roberta Clark, Executive Director, by Wednesday, April 3.

All volunteers need to download, sign and bring this waiver to the job site. Children must be 16-years-old or older and accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you received a Mitzvah Corps t-shirt last year, please be sure to wear it on April 7. If you do not have a Mitzvah Corps t-shirt, we have a few extras at the office, please reach out to Roberta to see if we have one in your size.
