2019 Jewish Community Legislative Day

The Jewish Federations of Greater Oklahoma City and Tulsa are pleased to invite Jewish community members throughout the state to participate in our Second Annual Jewish Community Legislative Day.


Topics on our agenda will include: education, minimum wage, health care/Medicaid and criminal justice.
  • Our keynote speaker will be David Blatt, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Policy Institute.
  • Confirmed guest speakers to date include: Christine Jackson, Moms Demand Action; Carter Kimble, Director of Health Policy at OSU Board of Regents; and Senator George Young (District 48).
  • Other invited guest speakers include: House Majority Floor Leader Jon Echols (District 90) and Governor Kevin Stitt.

12:00 p.m. - Lunch
1:00 p.m. - Lobbying

Pre-registration is required for participation. Registration is $18 per person (plus a $0.77 credit card processing fee), payable in advance via this link. The fee covers food and materials. If you would like to register without lunch, the fee is $8 per person (plus a $0.50 credit card processing fee).

Please be sure to indicate which lunch item you would like via the ticket on the registration page (options include: Spinach Veggie Wrap, Tuna Salad Sandwich on wheat or gluten free bread, or a Salmon Pacifica Salad - ingredient details are listed on the registration page).

For OKC participants: there will be an advocacy training session on Wednesday, February 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Jewish Federation office (710 W Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 103).
