Join Rabbi Harris and other Temple members for a Sunday dinner to discuss "Jewish life skills for dying." Participants can come alone or with a loved one for guided conversation, sacred listening, and a lovely dinner party. Our evening's conversation includes space to express personal opinions on a too-often taboo subject. Participants will leave with Jewish vocabulary for death, increased confidence discussing sensitive topics, and a checklist to prepare answers to some of the inevitable Jewish related questions. This is not meant to be a morbid conversation, but a human one, where we consider what is most important to us in life when it comes to an end. Seating is limited. RSVP at http://thetempleokc.shulcloud.com/event-rsvp.html or by calling the office at 405-848-0965.
Thank you to Smith & Kernke Funeral Homes for underwriting this installment of Death Over Dinner.
